Side A recorded in the morning of 03.12.1978 at Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum, Aachen, at the opening of IBK-Winterausstellung. Side B recorded in the evening of 09.11.1979 at the Zimmertheater, Bremen at a concert organised by Torsten Müller of Kollektiv Freie Musik, Bremen. Moinho da asneira = mill of stupidity.

This is the most hard core free improv album of this outstanding duet. Moinho da Asneira seemed difficult to listen to at the time it was issued. There are some very quiet moments here with Lovens bowing slowly his musical saw and Lytton plucking and sliding his amplified (guitar) strings mounted on a dexion rack with Meccano parts. The pitch of the strings were moved swiftly with hi - hat foot pedals and some kitchen objects were used on them. You will find here the spirit of some hardcore soft noise improvisors of the last ten years. I have fondly memories of this duo and their music. I heard their last duo concert in february 1986, just before Lytton quitted the Po Torch label. Recommended if you love true free improvisation at its most uncompromising.
