This version of Some Velvet Morning is based on, and heavily influenced by the seminal version by Rowland S Howard & Lydia Lunch (released by 4AD in 1982 - BAD 210), which in my mind is still THE definitive recording of this song (and there have been some great versions over the years). The Primal Scream version even has a dedication to dedicated to Rowland & Lydia on the sleeve. The Two Lone Swordsman Disco Heater Dub mix is in fact identical to the Two Lone Swordsman Alternative Mix on the Dirty Hits 2 x CD.
